Tech giant Apple has announced white models of the iPhone 4 have been delayed once again, releasing a statement just weeks after the company said the white versions would be more difficult to manufacture than first expected.
“White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”
The delay comes during a bad time for Apple. The company announced it would give every iPhone 4 owner a free bumper case in order to fix the gadget’s faulty antenna.
The new delay means Apple hasn’t been able to give out anything but the black model of the latest gadget. It is understood problems with manufacturers in China are behind the latest delay, but it is unknown when the white model will be available.
