Tech giant Apple has confirmed chief executive Steve Jobs will return to the Worldwide Developer’s Conference next month to deliver the long-awaited keynote speech.
Jobs took an extended break from the conferences for awhile as he battled severe illness, but as he has resumed day-to-day responsibilities at the company, he will now resume his previous position at the WWDC as well.
This year’s WWDC is expected to see the announcement of a new iPhone model. Unfortunately for the company, hardware was already leaked earlier this year to tech blogs, almost certainly spoiling the surprise for many Apple fans.
However, more details about the upcoming OS 4.0 are expected, along with some other announcements for the iTunes software.
The WWDC will take place from June 7-10 in San Francisco. Tickets sold out only eight days after they went on sale.
