Lately rumours have been circulating the internet about an Apple tablet computer device, with both AppleInsider and the Financial Times reporting the story.
The reports suggested that the tablet computer announcement could come as early as next month, when Apple is also expected to announce changes to the existing iPod range.
But those rumours have been hit by another report from The Loop, which claims that “very reliable sources” say the tablet device will not be available until early 2010.
It said the September announcement rumour is “flat out wrong”. The rumour validates reports from US analyst Gene Munster, who wrote in a report that a tablet device would not appear until the first half of 2010.
