Enterprise resource planning giant Odoo has announced the launch of its first Australian office, promising to assist small and medium businesses with increasing their digital capabilities.

While a few notable tech startups have come out of Australia, the country's digital prowess is severely lacking compared to its overseas counterparts.

"There are big opportunities for our next government to continue to strengthen Australia’s position as a global leader in technology and innovation," writes Zeller CEO Ben Pfisterer.  

Australia's tech leaders were looking for detail on the R&D Tax Incentive and targeted support to close the tech talent gap. None of this materialised, but there were glimmers of hope.
