Victorian MP Jacinta Allan will take over as state premier, with Ben Carroll serving as her deputy, when outgoing leader Daniel Andrews steps down at 5pm.
Victoria is set to get a fleet of self-driving cars this year, after the state government approved a $2.3 grant for Bosch to develop and trial the vehicles.
