Windows Vista users may have become used to those cool gadgets on the side of the screen, but after switching to Windows 7, found those gadgets disappeared.
But they haven’t disappeared, they’re just hidden. Users can still take advantage of the same widgets in Vista, and there are quite a lot more as well.
Users need to go to the desktop screen, and then right click. The “gadgets” option will appear between “screen resolution and “personalise”.
After you click on that option, a pop-up box will appear with options for widgets including a calendar, clock, CPU meter, weather and an RSS feed app that can display headlines.
To place gadgets on the desktop, all users need to do is just drag the picture. Unlike Vista, gadgets can be moved anywhere on the screen and can be left there indefinitely.
