Open the OS X Notification bar with a gesture

If you’re a Mac user, you have probably already downloaded the newest version of OS X, Mountain Lion.

One of the new features in Mountain Lion is the notification centre, borrowed from iOS. The notifications are built into several first and third party apps, similar to the way they work on the iPhone.

To open the notification centre, you just click the icon on the top-right hand corner of the screen. But there’s also a gesture you can use.

To open the notification centre with the trackpad, just drag two fingers from outside the right side of the track pad all the way to the left. It’ll be much easier than clicking the icon every time.
