How to turn off Windows Firewall

tech-tricks

Occasionally you will find that you’ll need to share a file or folder, but Windows won’t let you, or that your anti-virus program is clashing with Windows’ own system. If that happens, Windows Firewall might be the cause.

Fortunately, you can turn the Windows Firewall off any time you need to get around it, although you should make sure first that your computer is protected from any outside attacks before you do.

To do so, head to the Control Panel, then click on the “Windows Firewall” option. After you do, click on “Turn Windows Firewall On or Off”. There, you’ll be able to follow the prompts and manage the firewall in any way you want.
