Have you stumbled upon a phishing site? Perhaps it’s a fake website pretending to be one of the major banks in a bid to get credit card details. Or it might be a lottery scam.
Here’s what you should do next.
The first is to report it to the ACCC’s ScamWatch page or hotline. You can find the details here.
The second thing to do is to fill in the details on Google’s report phishing page. You can either find it here or alternatively, if you use Firefox, you can pull it up from the Help menu under Report web forgery.
