Plenty of Twitter account holders use clients to manage their account, and TweetDeck is one of the best. It has the most features, and is probably the easiest to use.
One of the better features of TweetDeck is the ability to set up desktop notifications, so the program doesn’t actually have to be on to view the notification system.
But did you know you can change where these notifications appear and the sounds they make?
To do this, open the TweetDeck window, then click on the wrench icon on the top right corner for “Settings”. Then, on the left-hand side, scroll down to “Notifications”.
There, you’ll be able to determine where on the desktop you want notifications to occur, whether you want a summary, and whether they can make any sounds. If you’re following a lot of accounts, these will be a big time saver.
