The new iOS 5 software is available for both iPhones and iPads, and while iPhones may have missed out on some useful gestures this time around, new ones for the iPad make it easier to browse around.
To make the most of your software on the iPad, you can use three new gestures:
- To close to the home screen from any app, pinch with five fingers.
- To swipe left or right to the next app, use four fingers.
- To open the multitasking bar, swipe upwards from any app with four fingers.
Using these should ensure you don’t have to use your home button as much, allowing you to be slightly more productive.
