You will never uncover a world-changing idea unless you start working on something now, says Y Combinator president Sam Altman.
In a candid interview in Altman’s own backyard, his brother Jack quizzed him on what it takes to come up with game-changing ideas and turn them into real life ventures that change the world.
“Sometimes you actually have to just try stuff to figure out what you like,” Altman said.
Altman, who usually takes the interviewer seat and speaks with visionaries like Elon Musk, reveals his own insights into how entrepreneurs can uncover ideas, focus their efforts and choose who to work with.
“Finding your tribe, finding the sort of people that you end up working with on and off for the rest of your career is really hard,” he says.
