Lisa Messenger is one of the most vibrant and inspirational female entrepreneurs I have ever met.
She started her entrepreneurial journey 11 years ago, setting up a business from the kitchen table. With hardly any money, she built a business working globally in events, sponsorship, marketing, PR and publishing.
On the back of her first book Happiness Is…, she developed a custom funding and distribution model that is unique in Australia, and as owner and creative director of The Messenger Group, Lisa has authored and co-authored a further 16 books.
Her company, The Messenger Group (that now includes seven businesses), has custom published more than 350 books for companies and individuals over the past few years.
We discussed some of the lessons she has learnt in business, the benefits of mentoring others and how to maintain focus as an ideas person. I hope you’ll enjoy the video!
