The type of marketing you use should be a critical part of your business plan. As part of that plan, you should identify who your key market is, and the demographics making up your customer base.
Once you understand your audience and their age, you’ll then be able to identify what types of marketing you can use.
That can range from print to radio, and can incorporate anything from email marketing to online visual advertising.
Your marketing will also be dictated by your budget and what you can afford to do. You should make a priority list by identifying the marketing methods by which you’ll get the most for your money.
You should also investigate the use of social media. Setting up Facebook and Twitter accounts doesn’t cost anything, and being able to talk with your customers directly will help spread the word about your business.
