We’re well into the all-important second half of the year. Your team is no doubt working hard to close deals and service customers. The weather is a little miserable, there are no public holiday long weekends on the horizon and the weeks can start to drag.
Does your office need a morale boost? Time to take the temperature of your work place and find out.
There are a number of ways to do this:
- Take a few key staff members out for a sandwich and get some honest opinions about the state of moral.
- Perform a Friday afternoon email test – find out how many actionable emails everyone has in their inbox. If someone looks like they are being inundated, you need to do something about it.
- Hold a little drinks session at the end of the day and see how many turn up – a great sign of who isn’t feeling the love.
If you don’t take the temperature of the office, the danger is morale does slip and you’ve got some antsy staff on your hands.
Get it done – today!
