I know it is early in the year and for many entrepreneurs it’s been a bit of a slow start to 2012. All the signs point to business and consumer confidence being relatively restrained at least for the first six months.
But entrepreneurs are positive people and know that it’s important to stay optimistic and keep morale nice and strong.
There are plenty of ways to do that, but it’s always a great idea to find something to celebrate and pull the team together.
It might be a contract win, or a milestone with your website traffic or some other achievement. It might be a new staff member or the conclusion of a big project.
Whatever it is, find something positive and make the most of it.
Some ways to give you and your team a clap include:
- Send everyone home early one afternoon.
- Hold a lunch – a BBQ will do if cash is tight.
- If funds permit, take your team bowling, paintballing or go-kart racing.
Keeping morale high by finding reasons to celebrate will be crucial this year, so make sure you find ways to do it.
Get it done – today!
