A wedding ring that brands the words “I’m married” onto the wearer’s finger has gone on sale for $550.
The strengthened titanium band features the words engraved on the inside that become etched onto the finger. The ring even comes with a lifetime guarantee.
The company behind the ring, sold on TheCheeky.com, said: “It means that when an attractive woman or man comes along… slipping your wedding ring off is not an option.”
The description reads: “With Arnold, Tiger and two-timing IMF guy in mind, we have created this wedding ring for people intent on cheating.”
The ring is more akin to a man’s design than a woman’s, presumably because the band needs to be wide enough to accommodate the words.
As divorce rates climb, anything that can ease the minds of suspicious spouses is sure to be a hit.
While the anti-cheating ring is a tad silly, it does suggest there is a growing demand for items that help to ensure long-lasting marital bliss.
