A US-based company called Pure Fix Cycles has designed a bicycle which glows in the dark, designed to ensure users’ safety during night rides.
Dubbed “The Kilo”, Pure Fix Cycles claims it is the very first glow-in-the-dark bicycle, with highly reflective, glow-in-the-dark paint that requires just an hour of sunlight to activate.
“Get ready to take your night riding to a whole new level,” Pure Fix Cycles says on its site.
“Whether you’re a night owl, a raver, or just want to trip out your friends, this is the bike for you.”
“Our bikes feature a flip-flop rear hub that gives riders the option of riding fixed gear or single speed.”
As more people choose bicycles as their preferred means of transport, a glow-in-the-dark bicycle is bound to be popular.
Are there other ways you can help ensure riders’ safety?
