A new application called Pintrips allows consumers to take control of the search process for a flight by giving them access to instant flight pricing and availability from their choice of sites.

Pintrips lets travellers “pin” flights they like from trusted travel sites. Those pinned flights instantly show up side by side in a shareable dashboard.

For obsessive searchers and deal hounds, flights pinned will always reflect the current market price, eliminating the frustrations of trying to find exact flights again, only to discover a price increase or a sold-out flight.

“People are addicted to shopping around online to find the best price and flight schedule,” Pintrips chief executive Stephen Gotlieb says.

“We make sure no one gets just a partial picture. Pintrips empowers you to take control of your trip planning and make better decisions by doing the tedious work for you.”
