A new site called iCouch.me helps people find the perfect therapist.
“We know how hard it is to find great therapists that can relate to you,” says iCouch co-founder Jessica Rios.
“We want to make it easy for you to find someone that you can trust, connect with and improve with – no matter where you are.
“The best therapist for you isn’t necessarily the one closest to you.
“Maybe you live overseas or just on the other side of town. We created iCouch because we want your perfect therapist to be as close as your computer.”
The company says it doesn’t allow “just anyone” to become an iCouch counsellor, insisting every iCouch therapist must meet “the highest standards”, both professionally and personally.
Are there other services and professions that could benefit from a matchmaking service?
