For ladies who want to go shopping but don’t have anywhere to leave their man, there is now a solution – they can head for the man crèche.
Technology firm Soniq has installed a boys’ playpen at Melbourne’s Northland Shopping Centre.
The crèche, which opened earlier this month, is intended to provide a “safe haven” for guys to “de-stress and recharge” while their partners shop.
It features a two-metre-wide video wall for screening sports, gaming consoles, couches and a pool table.
How else might you cater to bored husbands and boyfriends? Perhaps a sports bar in the heart of a shopping precinct would do well.
