The Australian SME community’s best and brightest came out in style on Thursday night to celebrate The Smart50 Awards 2023.

Since 2007, the Awards have counted down the 50 fastest-growing Australian small and medium businesses and awarded a selection of category awards to those innovating and supporting their community and customers in exciting ways.

The overall winner was Untitled Group, with a remarkable 597.4% growth average over the past three financial years. In a little bit of a sweep, Untitled Group, founded by Nicholas Greco, Filippo Palermo, Christian Serrao and Michael Christidis, also took home the Marketing Award this year.

It’s a fantastic story: an independent events company hit hard by pandemic lockdowns, that had to explore new markets and revenue options. This tenacity earned Untitled Group the Resilience Award at last year’s Smart50 Awards 2022, and on Thursday night it was clear that this resilience paid off in a major way.

Smart50 brands raked in a collective $495,051,872 in revenue and created 608 jobs*, in FY2023.

Untitled Group wasn’t the only big performer on the night. Here are the category award winners at The Smart50 Awards 2023. Read more about in Eloise Keating’s full Category Awards wrap.
