Code Like a Girl

Ally Watson spent the first eight years of her career using her degree in Computer Science as a software engineer. Despite her love for the field, she often experienced first-hand the isolation and barriers associated with being a woman in a male-dominated industry.

Code Like a Girl was born out of Ally’s desire to meet like-minded women who code. What started as a supportive networking meet-up quickly grew into a social enterprise that is having a measurable impact on tech’s gender imbalance.

OtherBirds

OtherBirds was born from two agencies whose founders saw a gap in the advertising landscape that prohibited SMEs from receiving the customer service they were paying for and deserved. Today, the company is now a full-service global marketing agency with the ability to produce content for digital and traditional platforms.

OtherBirds has raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities including REACH Siem Reap, For Change Co and The Health Collab.
