Remember the riot act? Take it out and read it to them. NOW.
Your sales people are short changing you at a time they need to be working harder than ever. If morale is down, get some sales training staff in. Your staff are paid for a full day’s work and that is what they should deliver – day in, day out.
This recession has a while to go and it is imperative that your sales team see the challenge ahead instead of taking a holiday.
And move on the poor performers in the team who are leading the slacking off. They are unethical and you don’t want them representing you in the marketplace.
