Power Players don’t ever give too much energy to rejection. They live by the philosophy that when one door closes, another door opens.
Most of us lose ourselves so completely and totally when we are rejected. We spend countless hours wondering what we did wrong and focusing on every single one of our flaws.
Power Players don’t give a voice to rejection. They simply see it as an opportunity to go in another direction. They understand that rejection happens – to all of us and oftentimes there is no rhyme or reason for it.
Rather than dwell on all the things that haven’t happened, they focus on all the things that could happen.
They look at new horizons rather than the roads that didn’t lead anywhere. Most of all, they know that rejection is something that happens to us all and the time and energy we might give to it, is wasted. Better to focus on the new door that opens. Good advice for every would-be Power Player.
