Power Play: Always forgive your enemies

Now this is one tip that Power Players love. And the best players do it every time.

Enemies thrive on discord and drama. If you take that away from them, they have to put their energy someplace else.

The best explanation I heard about this was as follows… If you’re having a fight with a close friend or a spouse or partner and they lash out in anger and say they hate you, you should respond by saying, “Well I love you. And you can hate me all you want but I love you”.

What do you think their reaction will be? You’ve just taken all the oxygen out of the fire and the negative flame they’ve given birth to cannot be fanned.

Forgive your enemies. They’ll be unbelievably blindsided. They won’t know how to react and you’ll come out smelling like a rose. And this type of power is priceless.
