Dear Aunty B,
I follow you on Twitter (@IamAuntyB) and I noticed a few tweets expressing your concern that the new site StartupSmart is not using you but a bloke called the Taskmaster to dish out daily advice.
Now Aunty you always tell us what to do. So I thought I would help out with a bit of friendly advice. First I would update your photo. You are a good-looking chick but I am sure you could do with a makeover. The hair is a little yesterday.
But don’t worry too much about that, as it will not be hard to be better looking than that tired old bloke StartupSmart is using to dish out advice. Second, this is competition. You have to get better. Simple as that. That means you have to help more of us, more of the time. Tweets are a great idea and I noticed Taskmaster has not made it to my Tweetdeck yet. So I would up the ante there.
And finally Auntie, you always tell us that when you are a market leader, not to worry too much about the competition. Look over your shoulder but let the competition wrap themselves in knots competing with you while you concentrate on staying out in front. So good luck Auntie.
I will always be your loyal servant,
Warnabool
Dear loyal servant,
What a sweetheart! Thank you for your kind words. I have approached my colleagues about updating my brand – maybe with a little Photoshopping around the eyes – but they scoffed and called me vain. By the way, what are you doing at Christmas? I need someone to fill in for me while I go on holiday and that Taskmaster is not getting the gig!
Good luck!
Your Aunty B
