Dear Aunty B,
Thanks for the webinar on social networking. My problem is I hear all these people talking about spending time on this and that and I think – when? Don’t you have a life??
I run my own business with employees, children, husband, parents, friends and a guilty conscience that I drink one too many at night and don’t have enough time to exercise.
When am I meant to Twitter and blog?
Time poor,
Vic
Dear Time poor,
Well, you get up at 5am. Honestly. That’s what the pros do. They set aside an hour at least first thing in the morning to read and blog. They then Twitter and Facebook their posting.
If you are like me and most of the population in the world and you can’t stand getting up early then you need to blog late at night – but that might not be a good idea after a few glasses of wine!
The point is you need to find an hour in the day that suits you and just do it. The experts say that once you have the routine it is ‘set and forget’.
Now I know you will tell me you don’t have an extra hour in your day. So could you write the blogs on a Sunday afternoon, shove them at your PA and then tell her to Twitter and Facebook them though the week?
Anyone else got any ideas to help Time poor?
Good luck?
Your Aunty B
