As the owner of a fast growth business that breaks lots of rules I could not agree more. Coaches that work to formulas, who do not ‘get’ what you are going through are dangerous.
As business owners we often feel lost and seek leaders to follow. Be very careful who you choose to follow the advice of, as they do not stand to lose, you do.
If they offer you a great deal and want to own your business at the end of the process be very careful, as they will leave all of the risk with you and only take the shares when there is profit involved.
