Dumb.
It isn’t the $60,000 to $100,000 workers who are incentivised by this stuff. (Hate that word). It’s the key people, the ones who can really make a difference. Having tried the “everyone gets shares, from the top to the bottom” idea, my experience is that it’s only the people higher up the food chain that are the least bit interested.
I repeat: Dumb.
About as dumb as giving $6 billion to an industry that shouldn’t be in Australia, and won’t be in 20 years time.
About as dumb as cutting out Commercial-Ready.
Hmm… Seems I’m getting cynical again, because I don’t actually see the ‘other side’ of politics doing much different.
