Apparently Sensis research indicates the Yellow Pages goes straight into the bin in suburbs where there is a high degree of broadband connectivity (ADSL and cable means ‘always on’ is not a big deal). However, it’s still considered to be the bible in regional Australia and low bandwidth connectivity areas.
I don’t think iPhones will change this trend. However, the NBN will kill Sensis, as like all monopolies they would rather die than innovate.
