It does make me very angry when people get the impression all web developers are unable to work to plan or promise. I understand why but still, it is uncomfortable to get tarred with someone else’s brush. I left a company because they were more interested in their own timetable than keeping promises. As one client put it: “I got tired of taking bullets”.
Before you do anything, there are a few hard questions to consider:
- Did you, the client, meet all your deadlines?
- Were your initial timelines realistic?
- Is the company you hired really properly skilled or did you buy a price with grand promises attached because it seemed easier?
Please tread carefully as you may cause yourself a lot more hurt if you don’t have a clear view of what you are trying to achieve.
I wish you all the best.
