The Dutch are leading the way in teaching kids about selling and social responsibility, according to Springwise. A new website called Speel Goed met Geld, or “play well with money”, works like an eBay for kids who want to buy and sell toys.
Like eBay, kids who want to sell a toy can list it on Speel Goed met Geld with a digital picture, description and price. There is one fundamental difference, however – the proceeds of any sale go to global charity War Child, instead of to the person making the sale.
And even better, for every sale Dutch Postbank, which is behind the site, will make a €2.50 donation. It’s like a school for corporate social responsibility.
