Golfer Greg Norman was Australia’s biggest-earning sportsperson in 2007, according to the latest BRW Top 50 Sports Earners.
Norman earned $20 million, largely thanks to some very big endorsement deals, as he only played in one official tournament.
He was followed by soccer player Harry Kewell ($11 million), Formula 1 racing driver Mark Webber ($8.4 million), golfer Adam Scott ($8.1 million), and tennis player Lleyton Hewitt ($8 million).
Surprising omissions from the list include cricketers Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath and swimmer Ian Thorpe.
