A Queensland construction company in operation since 2009 has been placed in voluntary administration.
Our Home Building Solutions builds homes from northern New South Wales to the Sunshine Coast.
The company entered into voluntary administration on July 6, with Brent Kijurina and Richard Albarran from Hall Chadwick appointed to manage the administration.
The first meeting of the company’s creditors is scheduled to be held in Brisbane on July 16.
In a statement issued to SmartCompany on July 9, a spokesperson for Hall Chadwick said the administrators are investigating the financial position of Our Home Building Solutions, which employs three employees as well as a number of contractors to work on individual projects.
“The work on the company’s projects have been suspended as the liquidators assess the projects currently on foot,” the spokesperson says.
“Upon preliminary investigations, the liquidators expect that trading of the company will resume early next week.”
The spokesperson says the director of Our Home Building Solutions has informed the administrators they plan to propose a Deed of Company Arrangement to creditors.
