Birthday reminder with a twist

So many people, so many birthdays – no wonder we occasionally forget to send a card on a friend or family member’s special day.

Now, according to Springwise, a website called Jack Cards has been established to help people avoid just that situation. You simply log on to Jack Cards and enter in all your significant card dates. Jack Cards will then deliver cards to you in advance of each nominated birthday, so all you need to do is write your note and send them off.

You pick the cards you want in advance – Jack Cards has cards by more than 40 independent designers on its site – and how far in advance you want them posted to you. The price? $US1.50 per card plus postage, cheaper than you’d pay in a store.
