A Sydney Bakers Delight manager has warned customers their mobile phones are not welcome in her store.
Sam Hansen, 22, whose store is in Cronulla Mall, told customers to hang up their calls, or expect to wait.
Hansen made the move after years of abuse from rude customers who have been on the phone while workers were trying to serve them. The manager said she now just overlooks customers on the phone, according to the Daily Telegraph.
“It’s just the blatant rudeness to come in and talk over the top of us,” she said. “We’re not robots. We have feelings.”
