Brambles unveiled a 33% rise in sales results for the nine months ending March 31.
The logistics and pallets giant reported sales revenue of US$3.56 billion ($AU3.44 billion) for the nine months.
Brambles also said it confirms its full-year profit guidance.
The main drivers of Brambles’ sales growth was the inclusion of newly acquired businesses and expansion in emerging markets in the pallets division.
The company said sales increased for its reusable plastic crates products and continuing improvement in the CHEP pallet business in the United States
Brambles CEO Tom Gorman said the company will continue to deliver sales growth with the strategy of expanding its product/service range and its geographic footprint.
Growth is continuing “despite continued subdued underlying organic volumes in our pallets operations in the USA, Western Europe and Australia,” Gorman said.
“We continue to expect group underlying profit for the 2012 financial year between US$1,050 million ($AU1.01 billion) and US$1,080 million, at June 30, 2011 foreign exchange rates, subject to unforeseen circumstances and economic uncertainty, and assuming a 12-month contribution from the Recall information management business.”
Brambles (ASX: BXB) is the world’s leading provider of pallet and container pooling solutions and employs approximately 17,000 people in more than 50 countries.
