Australian shares edged lower today after the local market’s worst day in seven weeks, yesterday. It follows the poor overnight performance of European markets, as fears about Spain’s economy continue to affect investors.
At 2.20pm, the S&P/ASX 200 was down 0.03% to 4127.9 and the broader All Ordinaries fell 0.1% to 4156.5.
Eurozone concerns have also weakened the Australian dollar. At the time of publication it is buying $US1.02885.
