GoLearn with Whagaa apps

GoLearn appsSoftware company Whagaa is developing a range of instructional mobile applications under its GoLearn brand, including how-to apps for skateboarding, soccer and even pole dancing.

Whagaa partners with recognised brands in their chosen niches to produce the content and then sell the applications through iTunes.

Each title is made up primarily of short video tutorials so it’s easy to see how the brand could be extended into areas like cooking, arts and music, and other sporting niches.

Whagaa’s initial software product, GoLearn Fitness, focused on personal fitness training. It was designed as a cheaper alternative to a personal trainer.

The product empowers users to set up a tailored fitness program to meet their goals, explains appropriate range of motion for each exercise, guides users to change and advance their fitness routine, offers nutrition tips, and tracks activities and progress.

As consumers become increasingly time-poor and cost-conscious, any self-help mechanisms are looked upon favourably. Can you think of any other similar services that could be delivered in the form of an app?
