You may have some folders that you want hidden for one reason or another – you may not want them found, or you may not want them cluttering up a particular folder.
To turn on hidden folders, you need to head to the Control Panel. Then, you need to double click on “File and Folder Options”.
After that, click on the “View” tab. Then in the box, you need to check the “Don’t show hidden files, folders or drives” option.
After you check this option, all your hidden folders won’t be visible. You can easily get them back by checking the “show hidden files” option in the same box.
