If you’ve tried printing documents straight from the internet you’ve likely come across the pesky URL that turns up at the top or bottom of each page.
If you want to save a little bit of ink there’s an easy way to turn them off.
If you’re using Internet Explorer go to the print icon at the top of the toolbar, and select “Page Setup”.
You’ll see a “headers and footers” section where you can see what’s being printed.
Remove the text in each section to see it disappear.
If you’re using Firefox go to “file” and then “Page Setup” and there you can choose the header and footer options.
Choose “blank” from each drop-down box to erase the extra text.
