It happens to everyone – you’re working away using multiple programs when a Windows update wants you to restart your computer.
It’s annoying and it means you have to restart every program again, but thankfully there’s a nice little app that will do all that for you, ensuring that every program you have open will reopen once rebooting is complete.
CacheMyWork allows you to do that. You can download it here for free.
When you’re operating a number of different programs open the CacheMyWork app, which will show you a list of all the programs you’re using.
When you’re about to restart check which programs you want to come back then reboot the computer.
Once you come back everything you had open previously should come back as they were before.
