Good advice Chris, and I would also add the following to increase your web visibility and hopefully your return on investment:
- When you add a video make sure that you include keywords in the video title, tags and description
- Include your URL in the description with https:// to ensure that it is a ‘live’ link;
- Add all your videos to your site or blog, one page per video.
- Optimise that page for search, if you can, and perhaps even include a transcript of the video with the keywords in it.
Be aware that factors that influence rankings of YouTube videos include inbound links, comments, subscribers, ratings, favourites, shares, views etc. So be active and employ social media to promote your videos.
