There’s a lot of talk around right now, particularly in the retail sector, about the problems with Australian companies losing sales to overseas rivals.
While some lobby groups want the Government to put in place protection for Australian businesses, here at Taskmaster Enterprises we are using this kerfuffle to take a very close look at who our overseas competitors might be.
If they are not already known to you, the best way to find out is with a little bit of Google searching – you’ll quickly figure out which companies in your sector have the best page rankings, which has the most (or best) reviews and which dominate the Google ads.
Now you know who your overseas rivals are, it’s time for some serious analysis. What are their strengths – is it price, quality or range? Where are they poor? What can you learn from their website, or sale process, or social media strategy? What do you need to add to your product range?
Like it or not, global competition is here to stay. It’s best to meet your rivals head on – and try and beat them at their own game if you can.
Get it done – today!
