As internet companies push increasingly into the TV space – the recent announcements concerning Google TV are a great example of this – the value of producing some video content continues to grow.
For start-up entrepreneurs, having a presence on sites like YouTube is a cheap and relatively easy way to boost your profile.
Choose a subject that you know well and make a short instructional video. For example, if you are a HR consultant, create a short video on the best questions to ask at an interview. The production quality doesn’t have to be world class – just make sure you can be easily seen and understood.
Before you post your video, it’s also a great idea to set up a YouTube channel using your business name (or something very close to it).
