The BBC has introduced a new service that will allow British users to watch television programs on mobile phones connected to the internet via wi-fi.
BBC Live TV is already available in a beta form, along with several radio stations.
The BBC’s website also says that there are further plans to offer more live TV services over 3G connections in the coming months.
“There is no need to download or install anything – just click and go,” the website’s FAQ states.
“It’s available on a wide range of wi-fi-enabled handsets. Over the coming months, we are hoping to make it available on even more handsets and over 3G networks.”
