My new favourite piece of tech gear is Google’s Chromecast. It’s a simple to use, thumb sized media streaming device that plugs into my TV.
I love it as I can mirror anything from my smartphone or laptop to my TV screen at home. This allows me to be in the comfort of my armchair and have a real vision for how my presentation will look when finally displayed in all its glory at corporate meetings.
During these meetings, I can actually glance down at my phone for cues rather than behind me to the screen which helps with delivery. I can actually control playback, volume and navigation through my mobile or laptop also.
