Facebook has announced it is rolling out a redesign to embedded posts for websites, with the social media giant promising the new design will encourage faster load times.
The embedded posts feature allows small business owners to share public Facebook posts on their websites or blogs.
The code to embed a post in a website can be found in the pull-down menu in the top right-hand side of any publicly visible post.
In the new layout, any media content in embedded posts, such as photos or videos, will be displayed above the text and the link.
The social media site will also remember the last width website owners set their posts to, so they won’t need to reset it each time they visit.
Facebook claims the new format will load twice as fast as the old layout.
