Power Play: Happy endings are yours to control

At any moment, you have the power to say: “This is not how my story will end.”

At least this is how Power Players think. Power Players feel a great sense of control over the way a story unfolds.

If they don’t like the direction of a story, they get creative about how to change it.

Power Players don’t lie back and let it happen to them. They fight and they kick and they scream and they get the ending they want. It might take a few false starts, but they don’t settle for second best.

And why should they?

There are many ways to skin the proverbial cat and Power Players simply change strategies until they find a road that leads them to the promised land.

This is a great lesson for us all.

The direction of any story can change. It’s up to us to find the smartest way to do this and to never give up until we get the ending we want.
